Sketches from My Backpack

The light is ALWAYS changing!

There is a special place in the heart of artists reserved for plein aire sketches. It is within these little works that our soul is laid bare, undressed by artifice and technique; it’s just what we see and feel. The feel includes biting insects if it is not a cold wind, blowing sand in the face and thorns underneath. The feel can also be what we hear and fear in a dark tent pummelled by howling winds. Enjoy.
